Online Unarmed Security Certification (DPSST)
This course provides the required training to become a licensed unarmed private security professional in Oregon. The curriculum meets official DPSST standards, covering safety, situational awareness, communication, professionalism, de-escalation, and Oregon private security law.

Eligibility Requirements (DPSST)
To qualify for DPSST Unarmed Security Certification, applicants must:
Be at least 18 years old
Be of good moral fitness
Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Have no disqualifying criminal history

Upon course completion, students receive guidance and required documentation to submit to DPSST:

Amy is our DPSST Unarmed Security Instructor. She holds a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Science in English Literature, bringing a unique blend of academic insight and real-world experience to her instruction. With over five years of security experience across multiple states, Amy has worked in diverse environments that have shaped her deep understanding of safety operations, team leadership, and professional ethics in the field.
A graduate of the DPSST Instructor Course, Amy is dedicated to providing engaging, practical, and compliant training that prepares students to meet Oregon’s high standards for public safety professionals. Her teaching emphasizes communication, critical thinking, and situational awareness skills essential for success in every area of security work.
